PVC insulated power cable has a number of advantages than paper insulted and PVC insulated cables. XLPE cable has high electric strength, mechanical strength, high-ageing resistance, environment stress resisting anti-chemical corrosion, and it is simple construction, using convenient and higher operating of long term temperature. It can be laid with no drop restriction.
XLPE or PVC cable have higher long-term working temperature and greater current rating, and under the condition of the same environment, XLPE or PVC cable may be reduced size (normal cross section) 1 or 2 class in comparison with PVC cable.
