(3) The use of compensation wire is convenient for installation and laying of the line.

(4) Replacing the thermal electrode with a compensation wire with a larger diameter and high conductivity can reduce the resistance of the thermocouple circuit, which is conducive to measurement and automatic control.

The following points should be paid attention to when using compensation wires:

(1) All kinds of compensation wires can only be used with the corresponding type of thermocouple, that is, all kinds of thermocouples and the matched compensation wires must have the same thermoelectric characteristics within the specified temperature range (O ~ 100℃).

(2) The temperature of the connection point of compensation wire and thermocouple shall not exceed the specified service temperature.

(3) When the compensation wire is connected to the thermocouple and instrument, the positive and negative poles should not be connected wrong, and the two pairs of connection points should be at the same temperature.

(4) According to the line resistance requirements of the instrument, choose the diameter of the compensation wire.
