They also generally have a PVC outer sheath or low smoke zero halogen(LSZH) sheathing for areas where smoke and acid gas emission would cause a serious problem in a fire situation. BS5308 instrumentation cables, are also available armored with steel wire armour or steel tape, offering protection against mechanical stresses.

1, Cable laying temperature with PVC , polyethylene insulation cable should not below 0℃ . Besides the cable laying temperature with XLPE insulation should not below -15℃
2, Regarding to the cable with PVC , polyethylene insulation, their conductor allowed long term operating temperature is 70 ℃ .When a short circuit
happened(The maximum duration is less than 5 seconds), The conductor allowed maximum operating temperature should be 160℃
3 To the cable with XLPE insulation, the conductor allowed long term operating temperature is 90℃. When a short circuit happened (The maximum duration is less than 5 seconds), The conductor allowed maximum operating temperature should be 250℃
4、The allowable bending radius of the cable: the cable with unarmored, should not be less than 6 times of the outer diameter of the cable. Cable with armoured or copper tape shielding shall not be less than 12 times of the outer diameter of the cable. And the flexible cable with shielding layer shall not be less than 6 times of the outer diameter of the cable
